Museum- by Kevin

Yesterday my family and I went to the Museum. We looked at all the things and dresses that people had created. I saw stairs that went up to the second floor. There was an open space, but we moved further inside the Museum.

Then we saw an exhibit about shells, animals and a tiny shell's lifeline of growing into a big shell. Before long I found a passage leading into the Ocean exhibit. Inside there were turtles, The Great White shark, a Mako shark, more dangerous sharks and lots of fishes. I thought I would get lost.

Another passage leads to the Volcano exhibit. There was 3 different types of rock from volcanoes and there was rock gongs that people made!  Also there was a simulation about the biggest volcano's eruption. It was scary. I thought it was a real eruption.

Lastly we went  to the car park to go home. I was really tired from walking up, down, left,  right and backwards.

Games! by Kevin

Tabloid

I like playing tabloid games because we can play lots of different mini games. My favourite is Silent Ball. It is my favourite because you have to throw the ball at someone and they have to catch it or they are out. Also when you talk you will be out of the game too and you have to sit down. The winner is the last person standing. It is a fun mini game. I think Tabloid games are cool because they are fun and Silent ball is by far the best one.

How is APOPS important? by Kevin

APOPS is important because we can listen to music from instruments.

The instruments are violin, flute, trumpet, drums, piccolo and keyboard. We need to listen to APOPS so we will know what musical instruments they use to make music. If we don't go to APOPS, we will not know any musical instruments and what sounds they make.

The best part I like most is the music from the musicians playing the trumpet because it makes a big sound. When the orchestra started to make the music of a parade, it scared me.

I think APOPS is cool because the musicians play lots of musical instruments to make cool music.

Mr. Mac

Let’s go! Today is Duffy Assembly. Mr. Mac is showing his books to St. Patrick’s children. He was telling the children how he drove cool trucks in his paper and how he had a car crash. After that he got the cd of the book and gave it to Joseph and he put it in the listening post. Next Mr. Mac got four big books and gave it to Leonye, Star, Aaron, and Julius from room 2. We sang the song very loud. When the song was finish we went back to class. The song was so awesome and Mr. Mac too.
