Yey! Room 5/L played badminton

Last Friday Room 5/L went to the hall to play badminton.

 First we had warm ups. We jog near the wall and back.When we finished  we had to face the wall and run sideways. We had to do the same thing but jump after 2 steps.

After that, we grabbed the racket and shuttle. Our coach Ben taught  us how to hold the racket on the grip. I had to face my knuckle to the ground. He told us to have our own space. Then we practice hitting the shuttle.

Lastly we thank our coach for teaching us how to play badminton.

Yes! It's time to play badminton!

Last Friday we went to play badminton. First we sat down on the  floor and listened to coach Ben . Then we had a warm up.It was so fun and cool. I jogged to the wall and back, Then I ran sideways. 

After that coach Ben told the girls and boys to get the rackets. Coach Ben taught us how  to hold the racket. He told us to watch for the people next to us because I might hit some one's eye. Next, we get the shuttle  and hit it softly because it might break the windows and the light. It was cool.

Finally we said thank you to coach Ben for teaching us how to play badminton then we went back to class and do some work. I had a great time.

 Today I have been learning to use Google Draw to create a repeating pattern. I repeated my cross shape by making sure they were the same size.I used two colours light green and light blue. On the odd lines I used the pattern light green and light blue. On even lines I started my pattern by going light blue and then light green.

I love my mum because she always kisses me when I go to sleep and when I go to school. I love my mum when she lets me play with her friend's niece at their house.

When I am crying she cheers me up, she makes me laugh. She cheers me up when I fall down on the ground. 
My mum is supportive when I perform a dance on stage. She shouts out, "Run fast!" when I am having a race. She tells me,"You can do this" when I am having a chess contest.


I love my mum because she is very special. She is always there for me. She is the best mum in the world.

My mum is beautiful, because she wears stylish clothes and she makes my room shine with her own smile!  She is an awesome person,  because she takes me out shopping.

My mum is loving, she gives me a kiss and a hug before I go to bed and to school. She also gives me a snuggle if I am scared and have a nightmare.

She is helpful, she asked me if I need help or if I am stuck with my homework.

 She tells me to be smart, loving and helpful to others at school.

She is kind. She lets me go to Eti's house for Sio's birthday party and for a make up party.

 She doesn't want me to get hurt or sick.

 I love my mum more than she loves her self. 

I will always make my mum proud

If my mum dies I will be sad, but I will always be her little Tongan Princess.

My mum loves me. She kisses me when she goes away. At night she snuggles up next to me and reads me a book. When I am sad my mum will cheer me up by reading a story. On the weekends she plays with me on the trampoline. My mum is kind. She let me go to my neighbours house to play. She brings some biscuits from her work and gave them to me. My mum's name is Sunny and I really like her name. My mum is beautiful. She light's me up when she smiles. I love my mum and she loves me.
