Learning Intention: W.A.L.T - write persuasive writing.

Success Criteria: I am successful when I can persuade  someone about my writing.

                          Should we cut down trees?
I think people should not cut down trees because it will make the earth dirty with all the dust. If their are no trees then we will all die because trees gives us oxygen to breath. Trees bear fruits so we can eat them and they are very healthy. Trees can be useful to make furniture. Some people can make medicines for the sick, from trees. 

Trees are very important when it rains, because they suck up the water. If their are no trees then the earth will be covered with water and we will all die.  Trees can be made into pencils so we can write  our stories. 
Trees are God's creation so we should not cut down trees.

Living in the moon! Yes? or No? I think I want to stay in the moon because I can find other materials that I don't know about in the moon.I want to live in the moon so I can explore it. I want to live in the moon because we can float and jump really high there.I think I want to live in the moon because you can see the solar system and its planets.I think I should live in the moon because even though there is no water,air or wind you can still bring your own food to eat. I should live in the moon because it is close to earth and I can visit earth whenever I want to.

I want to stay in the moon because I can learn new things about it. I want to stay in the moon so I can float because there is very little gravity. I want to find out if there are minerals in the moon. I also want to learn about the meteors that have fallen to the moon. The important thing is, I want to go to moon because I want to know if there are living things in it. L.I-WALT write a persuasive writing.

How friends could be better- by Elisha

My friends don't say mean words to me because they can hurt my feelings. I want a friend that is honest and tells me the truth, so I will know what happened. I want a friend that is helpful when I need some help with my homework. I want a friend who always smiles at me and other people because she looks happy and not grumpy. Most of all I want a friend that will play with me and also likes books and games. L.I. we are learning to write a persuasive writing.

How Friends could be better by Kevin

I think friends would be better if they will never swear at you. I want friends to stop leaving their other friends behind, because the other one will be left alone with nobody to play with. A friend would be nice if they will never throw their pencils at each other in the classroom because the pencils might hit and hurt them if they are pointy. I think the most important things a friend can do is that they will play games together and make sure the games are not too rough, so nobody can get hurt.

How could a friend be better by Akesa

A friend could be better if they share reading books with one another. I think friends should take turn on playing the iPad because it won't be fair for the other friend not to have a turn. I believe a friend could be better if she will stop calling names at other friends. I like a friend who always help others by asking, " do you need help"? Most importantly, a friend could be better if she should not tell lies to people because I will get in trouble from the teacher or my parents and I will be sad.

I think children should be allowed to eat chocolate because it has milk.Milk Is good for all kids because it will make you healthy.Milk gives you energy,like running or playing sport. Children should be allowed to eat chocolate because it has fruits.Fruits is tasty and healthy for growing kids. I think kids should be allowed to eat chocolate because it is delicious,fantastic and sweet. Chocolate is not healthy , if you eat too much you will get fat and have rotten teeth. The most important is that kids should be allowed to eat chocolate when ever they want to because chocolate has yummy flavours.
